The Nitrocharger Sport Advantage
Nitrocharger Sport´s stunning performance is directly related to the three individual tuning
points within the shock absorber, which incorporate a total of 26 deflective discs.
Each disc can be altered in thickness and diameter, giving OME ride control engineers
almost infinite tuning options to custom match Nitrocharger Sport to both the vehicle and
the spring it is intended to be used with.
This is coupled with advancements in key components within the twin tube interior, offering
greater durability and superb resistance to high operating temperatures and shock absorber
fade.
-
Triple Lip Oil Seal: A physically larger and strengthened design handles much higher
temperatures and internal pressures, virtually eliminating contaminant damage to the main
oil sealing area. Included in the design is an improved check valve that stops gas from
leaking out past the piston rod and seal.
- 35
mm High Flow Piston: Free flowing design reduces aeration and high oil
temperature, extending shock absorber performance under harsh conditions.
-
Heavy Gauge 1,6mm Reserve Tube: Heavy gauge steel reserve tube is 23% thicker
than common 1.3mm wall tubing to protect internal components from stone damage.

Stack
Located in the base of the shock
absorber, the cylinder end compression
stack incorporates six deflective discs for
greater valving options.
Multi Staged Tuning
The combination of the compression and
rebound stacks enable OME ride control
engineers to produce the most finely
tuned 4x4 shock absorber on the market.
Specically tailored to individual vehicle
models, their driving characteristics and
their intended uses, this new assembly also
enables the shock absorber to instantly
adapt to the road surface, guaranteeing
rapid valve responses and improvements
in ride quality, handling and control.
Rod Guide Design
A new and larger rod guide provides
greater support to the oil seal and larger
reserve tube volume for increased oil fill
and gas expansion.
A Teflon infused bronze slip ring has been
incorporated into the rod guide design to
ensure tight manufacturing tolerances are
maintained for consistent and uniform
performance across the shock absorber
range.
