CS-Clutch
Once more our research uncovers a very interesting product. The
Australian market leader - Australian Clutch Service (ACS) have
developed a range of clutches. On many of the new vehicles the
clutches wear out very quickly under normal conditions. When
frequently using a trailer, adding bigger wheels or motor tuning
the stress on the standard clutch is too high. One of the solutions is
a stronger clutch system.
The normal HD and XHD of the Xtreme Outback series, which is
developed for 4x4 vehicles will increase the strength by up to
50%
of the standard clutch.
Both of these clutches have an organic surface and this,
together with special clutch covers, gives a much improved
performance clutch under extreme conditions as well as
an improved clutch for day by day use.
The next in the range are the DCBHD and DCBXHD with
increased friction values using a Sinter metal surface and
stronger clutch covers. Although they can be used for normal
daily use we recommend them for heavy duty trailers and improved
power for Rally vehicles
At the top of the range, primarily for racing, are the DSBHD and
DSBXHD. These clutch discs have star shaped wings with
Sinter metal giving a higher friction value like the DCBHD. In
combination with the correct clutch cover it is ideal for motor sports
For many vehicles we can supply light aluminium flywheels or steel
flywheels to replace the original 2 masses flywheels.
All clutches are delivered in kit form including clutch disc, clutch
covers, clutch release sleeve and a clutch thorn for a simple fit.
